Más allá de las habilidades técnicas: la importancia de los valores en la financiación emprendedora y el éxito empresarial

Este estudio investiga la influencia de las características tanto logradas como atribuidas, así como los valores de los emprendedores, en el desempeño empresarial, centrándose específicamente en la financiación emprendedora en Bogotá, Colombia. Reconociendo el papel fundamental del emprendedor en los contextos tanto sociales como económicos, esta investigación tiene como objetivo explorar cómo estas características interactúan para afectar el éxito empresarial y los resultados financieros. Empleando análisis factorial para la reducción de dimensiones, la metodología facilitó la evaluación de una muestra de 771 emprendedores, lo que llevó a la confirmación de cuatro hipótesis centrales. Los resultados indican que el liderazgo emerge como un determinante significativo del éxito empresarial, destacando una fuerte correlación entre los valores de los emprendedores y su desempeño financiero. Además, los hallazgos demuestran que los valores, dependiendo de sus rasgos logrados y atribuidos, influyen críticamente en el desempeño financiero emprendedor. En conclusión, este estudio subraya la necesidad de considerar los valores junto con las competencias técnicas en la financiación emprendedora. Estos conocimientos son vitales para los interesados en el emprendimiento y la gestión empresarial, proporcionando valiosas implicaciones para las estrategias financieras y el éxito de los emprendedores tanto dentro como fuera del contexto colombiano.
