Rutting rendimiento de mezclas asfálticas que contienen tratadas RCA y reforzadas con fibras de carbono

Resumen

Este estudio examinó el rutting rendimiento de mezclas asfálticas calientes que contienen agregado de concreto reciclado tratado y reforzado con fibras de carbono. La metodología consistió en sustituir RCA en lugar de agregados vírgenes gruesos en los diversos porcentajes (20, 40, 60, 80 y 100%) que se trataron sumergiendo durante 24 horas en una solución de ácido acético con una concentración de 0,1M. Las fibras de carbono se agregaron en varios porcentajes de 0.15, 0.25 y 0.35% por todo el peso de la mezcla. El estudio encuentra que la incorporación de RCA y fibras de carbono no afectó sustancialmente las características volumétricas de las mezclas asfálticas, pero la estabilidad de Marshall aumentó. La combinación que contenía 60% de RCA y 0,35% de fibras de carbono mostró el mayor aumento en la estabilidad de Marshall, que fue de 35,81% sobre la mezcla de control. La adición de RCA condujo a una reducción en el rendimiento de surco, mientras que la adición de fibras de carbono lo aumentó. La combinación que incorporó 40% de RCA y 0,35% de fibras de carbono exhibió una profundidad mínima de surco de 40,64% menor que la mezcla de control. La combinación que incorporó 20% de RCA y 0,35% de fibras de carbono exhibió el nivel máximo de estabilidad dinámica, que fue 1,64 veces mayor que la mezcla de control.
