Economic evaluation of air quality and its impact on epoc records in Bucaramanga.

This paper presents the results of the approximation to a mathematical model for assessing the air quality was performed to
estimate and validate the acceptance of the economic value as payment for maintaining air quality to provide adequate public health care in
the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga. To do this, initially resorted to selective collection of meteorological data from the Institute of
Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental (IDEAM) studies, data air quality of Regional Autonomous Corporation to Defend Plateau
Bucaramanga (CDMB) also requested further data was collected the Public Health Observatory of Bucaramanga, who provided the EPOC
records of 2012. For purposes of economic valuation surveys were applied in May of this year in the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga
and equations method called were performed quota. The results indicate that citizens could pay a per capita value to maintain air quality of
the city and this value has a high probability of being right.
