Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyse the level of digital maturity of guest experience processes in small and medium-sized hotels in the Chapinero Bogotá area. To achieve this, a mixed research approach combining qualitative and quantitative methods was used, providing a complete and detailed view of the phenomenon. From the literature review to the conclusions and recommendations. The result identifies the need to assess and improve the digital maturity of small and medium-sized hotels in Chapinero, Bogotá, in order to adapt to an increasingly digitalised and competitive tourism market. A specific digital maturity model was developed that fits the characteristics and processes of guest experience in hotels in Chapinero, providing a clear guide for digital transformation in these establishments. It is concluded that, with this applied approach and the creation of a practical tool, it is expected that small hotels in the Chapinero locality will be able to face digital challenges, improve the quality of their services and position themselves favourably in the competitive digital tourism market.
